Diversified Research Associates LLC (“DRA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through diversifyresearch.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. Our contact and newsletter forms work by opening a draft in your own email application — your details are sent to us only if you choose to send that email. When you contact us by form, email, or phone, we may receive your name, organization, role or title, email address, phone number, country or region, the sectors and services you are interested in, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and the date and time of your request. We use this to operate and secure the Site.
No cookies or tracking. The Site does not use cookies, advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or similar technologies, and we do not track your activity across other websites.
2. Third-party services
- Web fonts. We use Google Fonts to display typography. When the Site loads, your browser may request font files from Google’s servers, which can give Google your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
- Hosting. The Site is hosted by a third-party provider that processes the server-log information described above on our behalf.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and the Site does not display third-party advertising.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the consultations or services you request;
- To communicate with you about your program, engagement, or request;
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site; and
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers who help us operate the Site or our business (such as our hosting and email providers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
- when required by law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request; and
- to protect the rights, safety, or property of DRA, our clients, or others.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to your inquiry, carry out an engagement, or meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations — after which we delete or anonymize it.
6. Your choices and rights
You may contact us at any time to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request its deletion. To do so, email mebacker@diversifyresearch.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — including rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We honor applicable rights requests; contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by law.
7. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International visitors
DRA is based in the United States, and information you provide is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the U.S.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
